Derwent Valley Wine & Food Experience is perfect for private groups of 4-11 people.

The Derwent Valley, only a short 20 minute drive from Hobart, produces many of Tasmania’s highest quality wines handcrafted by elite Winemakers. Rising straight up out of the water, the commanding green hills provide serenity for the thousands of Black Swans in the calm waters of the Derwent River.
Home to Southern Tasmania’s oldest vineyard, the Derwent Valley hosts a number of Australia’s highest rated vineyards.

Ageing Barrel Tours has teamed up with the Award Winning Agrarian Kitchen, who just took out the prestigious Good Food Two Hat 2018 award, to bring you this exclusive Limited Edition Derwent Valley Wine and Food Experience.

Embark on our Wine and Food experience. 5 Star Wines and the freshest local Tassie produce are all part of the experience, as you travel aboard our Mercedes mini-bus in comfort and style.

Plus a delicious 4 course lunch consisting of fresh local in season Tassie produce at the Award Winning Agrarian Kitchen (available Friday – Sunday).

Departure + Return

We depart at 9.45am sharp, so please ensure you arrive by 9.40am. We have many beautiful Vineyards to visit and we need to make sure we get away no later than our scheduled departure time.

Meet your Tour Host at the Tasmanian Travel & Information Centre, Cnr Davey & Elizabeth Streets, Hobart. Please arrive no later than 9.40am. Our daily tour finishes back at the Tasmanian Information Centre at approx 3pm. We also will drop off (upon request) at any CBD hotels.

Tours run with a minimum of 4 passengers and a maximum of 11
