Featuring some of Tasmania’s highest quality cool-weather grapes produced by elite Winemakers, the Coal River Valley offers not only a slice of history with your wine tour, but a selection of opulent cheeses as well.

Centered around the historic township of Richmond, a journey to the Coal River Valley is both a trip into Tasmania’s past and a look to its future. Our expert tour hosts entertain you with some facts and some fiction as you travel aboard our Mercedes mini-bus in comfort and style.

Departure + Return

We depart at 9.30am, so please ensure you arrive by 9.25am. We have such a busy day, with so many beautiful Vineyards to visit we need to make sure we get away no later than our scheduled departure time.

Meet your Tour Host at the Tasmanian Travel & Information Centre, Cnr Davey & Elizabeth Streets, Hobart (Elizabeth St side where bus zones are located). Please arrive no later than 9.25am. Our daily tours will finish back at the Tasmanian Information Centre at approximately 4.30pm. We also will drop off (upon request) at any CBD hotels.

How many in a group

Tours run with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 11.
