The Huon Valley is nestled behind the Wellington Range; just 30 minutes South-West from Hobart, and is home to an array of award-winning, cool-climate winemakers who are passionate with sharing their life’s work with fellow wine connoisseurs.

The Huon Valley is home to not only award winning winemakers but also some of Tasmania’s finest apple cider crafters and cheese makers, affording a broader experience to encompass ciders, gin, vodka and local cheeses to compliment your Huon Valley Wine Tour.

All Ageing Barrel Wine Tours in the Huon Valley are conducted aboard our Mercedes mini bus and guided by our own specialist tour directors, allowing you to savour the countryside in style and comfort.

Our Itinerary

Our tour includes 3-4 Cellar Door Wine Tastings with a Tasmanian Cheese plate served with one of your tastings + Vineyard Lunch at the Award Winning Home Hill Winery + Cider Tasting + Vodka & Gin (and sometimes Whisky) Tasting.

We visit 3 of the following Vineyards on our tour:

When do our Wine Tours in Hobart run to the Huon Valley

Available for Private tours Summer, Spring & Autumn (October-May). Price on Application.

Note this tour does not run during June, July, August & September due to Vineyard closures.

Being a full day private tour, pick up time is flexible, however usual departure time is 9.30am.

This tour is suitable for 2 – 11 people.
